This world is so wide that, even if you flitted around and around it, you would never reach the end of it. This blog is a collage of more or less literary and humorous, outlandish or sometimes even serious glimpses at this great wide world.

Blurry face
Section of "Blurry Face" Gouache and oil crayon, 2004
Leon, marvelous face! I love the colors! Thanks for leaving a "6-word memoir"! It certainly does count as a memoir! I will announce the winners on Feb 14th. :)
This feels so much like looking at a fragment of fresco, very old and delicate. Fun to look at for some time and act according to Leonardo's dictum and find patterns on a "wall stain, or in cloud formations". Lovely! G and GEM

ReplyDeleteVery nice textures and rock-like colors. This makes me think of seeing faces in random places - rocks and trees and so on.
ReplyDeletelately i have spent some time wondering if i have in fact become invisible... this looks very much like invisible feels.....

ReplyDeleteI really really like that. I can see several faces in it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think I'm a little slow. Still trying to see the face. I think I see it. Maybe. I do like the feel of it, the colors and textures.
