This world is so wide that, even if you flitted around and around it, you would never reach the end of it. This blog is a collage of more or less literary and humorous, outlandish or sometimes even serious glimpses at this great wide world.

A tinge of Klimt
A tinge of Klimt Acrylic and ink on photo paper, digitally modified
My contribution to Inspire Me Thursday's Open Topic. Actually, the original is more Klimtian, having gold in it. But I very much like the batik-like blue that replaced the gold.
I really find the luminous blue amazing. The design is strong, the painting's direct handling is fresh and the bits of black breaking through the white gives the needed texture and fits beatifully with the decorative pattern. NICE!!! GEM
It's fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'm very fond of Klimt and can really see his influence here.
