The loud neighborhood haiku

Joy enjoys the joy
of her own noise, much more than that
of the neighbor boys.

Hi Leonard, thanks for linking in! :) Welcome to the Heights..

I can imagine Joy is a person? even the happiness joy does have a noise, a music perhaps.. humorous take :)

There is a syllable more in the second line by the way, and haiku is a non-rhyming form of poetry. Please could you take care of that? :) Also, would be nice if you could remove the word verification. It took me 5 attempts to find something I could actually read.

Cheers,
Leo.

Oh, and really, you don't need both word verification and comment moderation. It's overkill--and keeps people from commenting! Thanks for your consideration!

Thank you all for visiting and commenting. I removed word verification ... I agree, it is a nuisance. I've battled with it myself a few times when trying to comment on other blogs.

I am not such a poetic form purist, so the extra syllable doesn't bother me. And the rhyme adds something, I think. But this one is definitely not 100% haiku :)

Heheh :) That's okay. not everyone are purists... I like our writers to keep it to a max of 17 syllables at the Haiku Heights, so had requested :D

Hope to see you again at the Heights in coming weeks.
