The weather situation

cannot be called extreme by any means (compared to Kazakhstan, for example, where they have -40 °C, I've heard), but we have had one of the biggest snow falls in this city I can remember, and it feels extremely cold even though it's only slightly below freezing.

I certainly would wish for more induration on my part.

Time to go out, do some dutiful shoveling and perhaps take a picture.*

A not so extreme contribution for Sunday Scribblings and a not so poetic one for One Single Impression.

* Shoveling completed, picture taken, picture added.

Good morning. Good use of the word, induration. I had never heard it before but it works well with this week's Extreme word. Yes, indeed; there are times when I too would wish for some induration against extreme cold.

I had not heard of "induration" either, but I'm glad I know the word now. I made a vow to use it frequently in the future :)

Thanks for your comment, Annie!

Arg! Even in its beauty, snow casts a net over all. Ninety-plus inches fell here each of the previous two years. Very little this year but I'm still holding my breath! Nice photo.

We got lots of snow, too...and it's unbearably cold, much colder than it normally is this time of year. Great use of the prompt!

On a completed unrelated topic, I love that you live in a place called Boulder. Such a strong sounding town!

Back to the snow... that path still looks pretty covered to me... get back out there and get shovelling! This time of year is when we all get neighbourly, helping each dig each other out.

Great use of the prompt words, and that picture could be Manchester, we've got the very same extreme weather here. Although, I've heard that they've got a heatwave down in Australia. Phew!

I hope the shoveling went well.

Yes, we get indurated when we want to sruvive...the thing is "survival of the fittest" is the name of the game when confronted with extreme situations like this...:_

Am friggin' cold looking at the pic that came with it.

And yeah, I blog at http://intelclub.blogspot.com/

Wish you could drop by sometimes.

Have a warm day soon!
